Culture, territori e rule of law. Un approccio interdisciplinare / Culture, territory and the rule of law. An interdisciplinary approach

CALL FOR PAPERS IT

On 17th and 18th June 2022, the University of Siena will host at the Certosa di Pontignano (Italy) a Conference on “Culture, territory and the rule of law. An interdisciplinary approach”. The Conference will be part of the 2017 PRIN Project “Framing and Diagnosing the Constitutional Degradation”, coordinated by Prof. Tania Groppi, and of the 2017 PRIN Project “The constitutional implications of European separatist claims”, coordinated by Prof. Alessandro Torre – Unit of Siena “Separatist claims, minority rights and citizenship transformation”, coordinated by Prof. Valeria Piergigli.

In a comparative perspective and following an approach also enhancing not strictly legal skills, the initiative aims at promoting a reflection on the plurality of cultures and on the tools that can effectively implement the accommodation of minority identities in the contemporary constitutional State, within which the resilience of the rule of law is questioned at different latitudes. Speeches by Italian and foreign scholars will be followed by communications by selected young scholars. A Call for Papers will, therefore, launched and will close on 31st March 2022.
